Web Manager

As a web manager, I take responsibility for creating and operating websites for my own projects. This involves work on the structure, design, functionality and organization of the content. I also emphasize technical search engine optimization, security and analysis of web statistics.

Own Website

As a “content designer with my own website“, I create and operate websites for my projects. My role as a web manager involves working with the structure, design, functionality, technical SEO, security and analysis of web statistics. For my projects, I use WordPress to edit the site. By using Gutenberg blocks combined with “Full Site Editing” themes, I can edit navigation, header and footer, among other things.

As a content designer with my own website, I have the role as web manager.

Organize Content

As a web manager, I think it is important to make sure that the content is organized such as both users and website owners quickly find what they are looking for. If the content volume increases, I must consider whether a restructuring is needed. It’s also important to have an audit system to keep the content up to date and correct, and for my projects I use WordPress CMS. I have also used other systems, and familiarize rather quickly with similar solutions.

Analyze and Adjust

What worked a few months ago doesn’t necessarily work today. Although some content worked well with one audience, it may not work with another. By analysis of web statistics, I may assess whether the content worked in relation to the target or whether an adjustment is needed.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

I work with technical SEO to increase the organic traffic to the website. Page speed, code, structure and user experience for visitors are some key words. Another method is to work with backlinks, link building and “off-page SEO”.

Parts of the content were customized and distributed on other platforms such as Mynewsdesk, Facebook, LinkedIN and Instagram.
