When working on my own projects, I cover several roles. As a webmaster, I create and operate websites using WordPress. I produce all content myself, including the visual. Larger organizations may find it appropriate to distribute these tasks between content producer and visual content producer. As a content manager, I plan, publish and distribute content in different channels to reach different audiences.
My Roles as a Content Designer:
Content Manager
As a content manager, I organize and maintain the content. The role also includes to optimize the content for search engines (SEO). And I also plan, publish and distribute content in different channels to reach different audiences.
Content Producer
In the role as a content producer, I write Norwegian and English texts for websites, blogs, newsletters, presentations and social media. To be able to create useful content for different audiences, the role also includes researching new topics.
Visual Content Producer
I also work with visual communication by creating and editing images, vector graphics, animations and videos. As a visual content producer, I can create graphic artwork for both offline and online media.
Web Manager
I create and operate websites for my own projects. As a web manager, I work with structure, design, functionality and organization of the content. The role also involves working with technical search engine optimization (SEO), security and web statistics.

Toolbox
After 30+ years as a PC and Windows user, I included Mac and Apple in 2019. Although I use Mac daily, I still use my PC occasionally. I use tools like WordPress, Photoshop, Word and PowerPoint daily.
Experience
The last 19 years as an employee, I worked as a web editor and webmaster with additional tasks within marketing communications. I also have experience from telemarketing, sales and customer service.
Education
“Master of Business and Marketing” was supplemented with web design, web development and information design. In the fall of 2020, I added the certification “Digital Marketing Professional”.
